24 Hour Comics Day - 100 Panels in 24 Hours!

This year is the first time I've ever participated in the 24 Hour Comics Day.  After being encouraged by a co-worker to join in the fun (http://www.elecorn.com/mikedsmith/ambition/ - this is the one he created!) I've created the 100 panel variation as seen below.

I certainly learned a lot!  Certain things I would do differently next time to maximize time and focus.  That said, I'm really happy to have successfully completed the 24 hour comic day and hope you enjoy the results!  This time around I did 4 passes:  red pencil, pen inked, then limited accents of copic marker value and blue for the Star Child and her powers.

In the future I think I would save all extra color value passes until the end (if time remained) and instead focus extra on the depth of content and character visual consistency.  I'm also looking forward to revisiting this eventually as an animatic with likely about 20 frames removed which I feel aren't as necessary (along with some updated art assets).

Also!  It is October.  Which means...Inktober!  (See here to read all about it:  http://mrjakeparker.com/2013/09/30/inktober-2013/)  I'm participating in that as well, so I'll update with some of those drawings soon!  For now, however, off to go sleep!
